Beau and Trudy’s Engagement Photoshoot
Trudy and I started discussions about having an engagement photoshoot for herself and Beau. Then…she added so casually into her email that they have a Groodle and would love to have her in some of the photos if possible. It clearly wasn’t even an option to me for their dog to NOT be at the photos. I believe all furry family members must be included wherever possible in your photos.
So the date was decided and the plan was made, Beau and Trudy’s engagement photos were booked! Within seconds of meeting I couldn’t help but rub noses with Mopsy. I honestly did wonder how I would not be distracted by Mopsy the entire session. The bigger concern should have really been would I remember to get enough photos of the engaged couple rather than my delight in photographing Mopsy (and kissing her over and over again)!
Trudy had said they were a laid-back couple who loved to adventure and she couldn’t have described them better. Nowhere was an issue to climb or walk or sit or stand. Even when I was so busy chatting and missed a turn off that could have ended up leading to a substantial hike (as it was getting dark…but with their skills I feel totally confident we would have been fine!)
Together we hung out photographing and chatting together until there was no light left. They told me the several proposal plans Beau had in place that due to weather had to be cancelled (and they were good plans!). Yet this gorgeous man kept coming up with another plan for their engagement to happen that weekend! Together they spoke so lovingly of their families and how they miss them. As well as their adventurous holiday dreams. We covered a lot!

Katie responded to my enquiry with opens arms, she was very accomodating and understanding with every question I had.
